FAQ’s

Below you will find a number of resources. This post is a bit like orienting you to the district website and all of the news/changes ect. happening in the district. To begin, HERE is a video that is a walk through of how to navigate the website.

HERE is a link to the Reopening Plan (this can also be found by clicking Covid/News) (high school and middle school hybrid plans can be found in this document)

Below is the information the School Committee wanted to share with Elementary folks & sample schedules:

  1. Attend school in-person for two full days, work remotely for two full days (similar to the current remote plan), and continue with a small amount of synchronous time on Wednesdays per the schedule listed HERE.
  2. Remain fully remote with a mostly asynchronous schedule for two days and a similar schedule for the other two days to the current remote plan. These students will continue to be grouped with many of the same students in their current class (some of whom will be participating in the in-person option) and likely their same teacher per the schedule found HERE
  3. Remain fully remote, maintaining the exact same current remote learning plan four days a week (as well as the current Wednesday schedule) we currently have now. Students may be grouped with some of the same and some different students and in most (but not all) cases will change teachers.

HERE is a link to the survey sent out to elementary caregivers on Tuesday if they wanted to change the decision they made regarding In-Person or Remote Learning.

HERE is a survey from Julie Spencer-Robinson, former teacher & former NASE president for caregivers to fill out for research purposes.
