For this project, Ms Bachman’s 3rd grade students collaboratively researched a bird species, and created a paper collage specimen for use in a stop motion animation. Students used their research to identify and explain adaptations in their selected birds. Students used stop motion animation and video editing software, to create a short clip of their bird walking, swimming or flying to a common tree, with voiceover audio describing an interesting fact about their bird. The finished video clips were compiled into a final movie, for your viewing pleasure. Enjoy!
