Principal’s Weekly Update—Week of October 30

Principal’s Weekly Update—Week of October 30

Greetings!

THANK YOU so much for the gifts, notes, and lovely cards that I received for National Principals Month. I am so lucky to be the leader of this phenomenal school community!!

Teachers really enjoyed meeting with parents during our Parent Conferences last week. Please keep in touch with your child’s teacher. Teamwork developed between teachers and families ensures better success and happiness for your children.

What a fabulous Halloween Party we had on Friday night! You can see a couple of photos from this fun event. Many thanks to organizer, Lauren Fleit, and the many parents who helped organize this party. It has certainly become an event not to be missed!

The other photo shows some of our second graders doing “Go Noodle”, which is an online resource for movement and mindfulness in the classroom. Many of our classrooms utilize this excellent resource, especially on rainy days when we cannot get outside.

Please do not send any Halloween costumes to school (other than those for the traditional Kindergarten parade). Thank you.
