NPS Elementary School Visiting Days
January 7, 2019 through February 15, 2019
Visiting days are designed for those interested in learning more about our curriculum, programs, and services. In order to maintain an effective and consistent classroom atmosphere, we invite prospective parents to visit classes only during Visiting Days. These days are designed for current parents, parents of next year’s students and those considering Open Enrollment (internal school choice between our four elementary schools), families new to Northampton, and those interested in our School Choice Program.
We welcome parents to be quiet observers in our active classrooms! Visiting days will be held one day a week at each of our elementary schools from January 7th through February 15, 2019. Please call the school you’d like to visit and make an appointment. ALL visitors must check in at the front office (photo identification may be requested) upon arrival and wear a visitors badge while in the building and on school grounds.

Please note that times may be limited or not available later in the school year due to MCAS testing and other school activities, especially towards the end of the school year. If you find that you have questions after making a visit to our schools, please contact the main office to schedule a private meeting with the teacher or Principal to have your individual questions answered. For students who enroll in the spring and summer for a fall start, there will be lots of opportunities to visit the school including playground playdates, new student orientation, and other school specific events like families picnics, etc.
