Kindergarten Registration
If your child was born on or before August 31, 2020, they are eligible to be in Kindergarten now.
If your child was born on or before August 31, 2021, they are eligible to start Kindergarten in Fall 2026.

An online presentation about the Kindergarten program at all 4 elementary schools is available here. Speakers include all 4 elementary principals, some Kindergarten staff, the Registrar, and Early Childhood Center staff to talk about the Kindergarten. The original presentation was held on December 3, 2025.

This event will happen simultaneously at all 4 elementary schools. This event is for parents and caregivers only, no children. *Snow date 1/28*

This event is for caregivers to visit Kindergarten classrooms at their home school. Sign up before the tour to confirm your place as there is a maximum of 10 adults per tour, no children.

THE BIG EVENT! Caregivers and families are welcomed to register their child for fall. There will be supervised play for children, a chance to ride the school bus in the JFK loop, and community partners like Forbes Library with free library cards – all to support you and your child having a wonderful transition to Kindergarten. Support will be available for caregivers to fill out paperwork and provide documents (medical, identity, and residence); Spanish translation support will be available as well.
Get ready in December with your forms & documents, January 31 will sneak up on you fast!
The Snow date for this event is Feb 7.
To Prepare for NPS Registration Day, visit the NPS Registration page for registration materials including:
- Kindergarten Registration Forms Packet: please download and fill out BEFORE Registration Day -- it will go a lot faster!
- Required documents to bring: see the list of what to bring with you: ID (birth certificate and parent/guardian ID), residency/occupancy, medical/immunication, and any legal documents
- If you would like to have a registration packet mailed to you please email the registrar.

Have your child play on the playground with you and other children and families starting kindergarten. This is a way for your child to meet their principal and begin to make friends, so it is all more familiar before school starts.
